Quigley-Simpson selects Magnite as preferred SSP; signs upfront-style omnichannel commitment, with a focus on CTV
NEW YORK – (August 26, 2021)– Magnite (Nasdaq: MGNI), the largest independent sell-side advertising platform, today announced that Quigley-Simpson has selected Magnite to serve as the agency’s preferred sell-side platform (SSP). Quigley-Simpson’s commitment taps into Magnite’s performance marketplace to gain scaled access to programmatic CTV and omnichannel inventory. The agreement brings together elements of TV upfront buying, creating greater efficiencies for both the buy and sell-side and connecting buyers with omnichannel content at scale.
Magnite’s robust platform is optimized for long-form video and supports high-quality advertising and viewing experiences, providing Quigley-Simpson with access to premium inventory on behalf of its clients. With more than a third of US households no longer reachable through traditional TV in the next few years, CTV plays a fundamental role in advertisers’ media plans. Magnite’s deep-seated relationships with top CTV publishers ensure Quigley-Simpson is best placed to guide its clients to incorporate CTV into their overarching media strategies.
Quigley-Simpson is a leading independent, fully-integrated brand performance agency uniting brand and demand. The agency has been at the forefront of the streaming marketplace since its onset, pioneering a market-first direct response approach to OTT. Its collaboration with Magnite creates the opportunity for continued efficiency for its clients and access to broader insights focused on platforms, programs and engagement through programmatic.
“The migration of audiences from linear TV to streaming has piqued the interest of our clients who are eager to invest in CTV and incorporate data-driven TV buys into their overall advertising strategies,” said Scott Marsden, EVP of Media & Analytics at Quigley-Simpson. “We identified Magnite’s unique offering as the most powerful way to set our clients up for success in the rapidly growing CTV space, an essential place for performance marketers to be. Magnite’s skilled performance marketing team has been instrumental in helping us better understand the programmatic CTV landscape and how to best transact in this environment.”
“Quigley-Simpson is an industry-leading brand and performance agency that is innovating the best way to approach CTV with performance marketers’ needs in mind,” said Dan Fairclough, Senior Director of Demand Facilitation at Magnite. “This is a true evolution in how buyers and sellers are working together and yielding better results for all parties. We are thrilled to be working with Quigley-Simpson and their multi-million dollar commitment speaks volumes to the opportunity that CTV can unlock for brands.”
